Before you contact me to renovate your kitchen it would be helpful to be armed with some actual costs. How much does it cost for an Ikea installation company to renovate my kitchen? The age old question. Is it going to cost me $5,000 or $50,000. Who knows?? Well, I do. And I’m going to break down the numbers for you.

We used Ikea’s Axstad white door fronts for this client. She was actually told by one of our competitors that Ikea cabinets would not work in the space and she would need custom built cabinets. We were able to come in and not only give her the Ikea cabinets but keep the cabinet footprint the same so she could keep her existing flooring. Certain elements are left out like electrical, plumbing, moving the venting for OTR and other small repairs.

Here is what this Ikea kitchen really cost: $21,550

The client opted for Ikea's Tornham door fronts for this project, creating a timeless aesthetic with light wood profiled doors. By eliminating a corner pantry, we provided the client with additional counter space. We also removed the raised eating bar, allowing the quartz counters to overhang at counter height. Other costs are not included here like electrical, plumbing, backsplash tile and new flooring. Keep in mind that the Tornham door front is Ikea’s most expensive door.

This Ikea kitchen cabinet design uses Enckoping White Wood effect door. A comparison with the previous kitchen reveals that the cabinet and countertop prices are notably lower, despite this kitchen being larger with more cabinets. The finishes you choose will always impact the final price. Other costs such as plumbing, electrical, drywall, backsplash & flooring are not factored in.
